Alexander (Sasha) Izmailov

Sveta Platonova

With 20+ years of exploring kayaking Iā€™ve tried it all. Polo is very appealing to me due to its uniqueness of being a team sport. Nothing builds up friendship as well as working together, winning, or losing as a team. Bay Area Kayak Polo club has welcomed me with unconditional support on and off the water when Iā€™ve moved to the Bay Area, and 10 years later I'm still finding myself enjoying our weekly sessions, learning new skills, and meeting new people.

Sam Reifsnyder

Former coach of the Men USA National Team national team.

Current focus: Help promote the sport of kayak polo in the USA.Ā

Outside polo, Sam is a wastewater engineer šŸ’©. He is quite the nerd when it comes to astronomy and space-related topics. His favorite movie/book/tv show genre is unsurprisingly Sci-fi.
